About Our Everett Cleaners

Get to Know the Owner – Eric Pedack

As a young entrepreneur with an intensive career at JP Morgan under his belt by the age of 27, Eric Pedack is shifting his focus to owning his own business. Following in his father’s footsteps of small business ownership, Eric looks forward to mastering the process of starting a business from the ground-up with The Cleaning Authority. Eric is a Washington native and Seattle University graduate who is launching operations of The Cleaning Authority in the Everett area this summer to serve the growing number of dual-income households that will benefit from the time saved by having someone clean their homes.

What were you doing before partnering with The Cleaning Authority?

I attended Seattle University, studying accounting and finance and was also a Division 1 swimmer at the university. After earning my degree, I pursued a career in finance, most recently as an associate with JP Morgan. The company provided an intense and valuable experience and allowed me to become a “Jack of All Trades” within the business, which led me pursue entrepreneurship. My father was a small business owner, so I think it has always been in my makeup to follow that path.

How did you learn about The Cleaning Authority, and what made you ultimately decide to commit?

I worked with a consultant that helped me identify some franchise concepts that would suit my strengths. When researching The Cleaning Authority, I was attracted to the recurring revenue model as well as the direct marketing program that the brand has built.

What were your perceptions of franchising before starting the process?

I think many people, myself included before getting more involved with the industry, think that franchising means big pizza or fast food chains. I found it interesting that there was such a wide variety of businesses to pursue. The industry really runs the gamut of different types of industries and I was surprised to learn how huge franchising is. I was also impressed with the high quality of the business concept.

If you were to speak with someone who’s considering signing on with The Cleaning Authority, what advice would you give them?

For anyone researching business ownership, it is important to ensure that the concept and its business model match your interests.

Why is the Everett the perfect market for your The Cleaning Authority business?

I recently moved to the Everett area and can see that the business will be successful because of the demographics of the community, which are mostly dual-income middle to upper middle class families who would benefit from the added convenience of The Cleaning Authority’s services.
