How to Clean Your Wine Glasses Like a Pro

How to Clean Your Wine Glasses Like a Pro

We love a good wine night. Whether you're relaxing with a glass of wine or inviting friends over.

But. of course, no wine night is complete without the perfect glass. When it comes to cleaning your glasses properly, some might feel comfortable putting them in the dishwasher. While dishwasher safe wine glasses are out there, you are risking having them break. Plus, if there is any decoration on the outside of on them, you might get into trouble there.

We’ve also heard some people like to clean their wine glasses with vinegar… but who wants to smell vinegar when enjoying a glass of wine? Not us!

The most tried-and-true method to clean your wine glass is gently by hand!

Rinse

Be sure to rinse your wine glasses with hot water immediately after use. You can save the cleaning until the next morning, but rinse right away to ensure stains don’t set in.

Wash

Be sure to hold the glass by the bowl rather than the delicate stem. Use a small amount of dish soap and be gentle so you don’t break the glass.

Dry

Be sure to dry your glasses gently, and use a lint-free towel. You can also air dry your wine glasses if you prefer. Just make sure your drying rack isn’t shaky!
