Don't Just Pin it, PRINT IT!

I LOVE pinning on Pinterest. Pinterest is a place where people all over the world share their creative ideas with other like-minded strangers, inspiring even more creativity in the process. Unfortunately, it’s easy to get caught up in doing more pinning and not so much actually doing or trying any of the pins. So, I came up with this idea because I needed it and thought, “I may not be the only one.” There are certain things I pin, like recipes and workout tips, that I REALLY DO WANT TO TRY. But even though I’ve pinned them, I don’t necessarily feel like going through my 200 saved recipes to look up the ingredients for a recipe I pinned, when I’m trying to rush out the door to go grocery shopping. So, this is my solution!

They are called brag books. Inexpensive, light-weight 4×6 photo albums that will hold printouts of your FAVORITE pins, and keep them organized and easily accessible. For example, a favorite recipes book will give you easy access to the instructions and allow you to follow the recipe without getting ingredients all over your electronics while cooking/baking. With a favorite workouts book, you can easily transition from one exercise movement to another without having to log back on to your iPhone to see your Pinterest app.

Have I sold you enough on why this is a good idea yet?!

We are also including some free printable covers for your brag books to help keep everything organized.

Printed Pinterest Books

To start, you need your brag books. I bought mine at Michaels, in the photo album/scrapbooking section for $1.99 each.

Brag Books

Once you have your brag books, peel off the stickers on the outside and swap out the covers with our free printable designs or make your own!

Then start printing your FAVORITE pins that you would like to try. For recipes, print out the ingredients and cooking instructions and simply fold it so it will fit. Sometimes a picture is not included when you print a recipe, but the picture is important! (To me anyway.) So, if it’s not included, print the picture separately and staple it to the first page. Once it’s together, simply slip it into the photo sleeve.
