Raj Das has a diverse corporate background as an IT sales and delivery leader in the Insurance and Healthcare industries. Most recently, he was a Vice President at MassMutual Financial Group. Throughout his career, Raj has been involved in developing software, leading transformative IT projects, managing P&L for national territories and building executive relationships with Fortune 500 leaders. He looks forward to leveraging his experience when running his own business in the future. Much of his motivation to find a business center around building an asset for his family and creating a legacy for his son. Raj feels that his passions for positive customer experience, expertise in running P&Ls and a servant leadership mindset make him a great fit for The Cleaning Authority. What were you doing before partnering with The Cleaning Authority?
I had a successful career in the corporate world, working in IT and insurance, but I wanted to find a way that my work as a businessman could help secure the future of my family, especially my son, who is a junior at South Windsor High School. I’m hopeful that he will start helping with house cleanings and rise in the ranks of the business in future years.
How did you learn about The Cleaning Authority, and what made you ultimately decide to commit?
I explored many franchise concepts and chose The Cleaning Authority for a few reasons. First of all, the representative we worked with in the sales process was very helpful and professional, which I have come to find is a trait of the whole corporate team. After going through the process, it was clear that both the franchisor and its franchisees were high-caliber business people and that the brand was successful as a whole, which made me want to be a part of the company.

Hartford hosts the corporate headquarters of several Fortune 500 firms and this market, which includes West Hartford, Avon, Simsbury, Canton, Farmington, Bloomfield, Windsor and Granby. The area is home to many hardworking families from these corporations and they all deserve the highest quality of cleaning service, a gap that my business will fill.
